Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of physics ethnoscience learning in the process of smoking fish's energy and its changes in the interest of physics education students. The type of research is descriptive quantitative. The pre-experimental design used One Group Pretest –Posttest Design. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. From the research conducted, the data obtained from the initial questionnaire analysis with an average of 56,11 % with low criteria. After being given treatment there was an increase in the final questionnaire analysis with an average of 68.59% with good criteria. Based on the conclusion that the effectiveness of learning physics ethnoscience material energy and its changes can increase student interest in learning
