Inovasi Dan Edukasi Pemanfaatan Minuman Susu Jagung “Milky Corn” Sebagai PMT Untuk Ibu Hamil KEK

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi selama kehamilan yang berpotensi meningkatkan risiko gangguan kesehatan ibu dan janin. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai pentingnya gizi seimbang selama masa kehamilan. Pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan penyuluhan, diskusi interaktif, dan pendampingan kepada 27 ibu hamil. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan mengukur tingkat pengetahuan peserta sebelum dan sesudah pemberian edukasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta setelah dilakukan penyuluhan, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya jumlah peserta dengan kategori pengetahuan baik serta tidak ditemukannya lagi peserta dengan kategori pengetahuan kurang. Peserta juga menunjukkan partisipasi aktif selama kegiatan berlangsung. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi gizi merupakan salah satu upaya yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman ibu hamil mengenai pentingnya pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi selama kehamilan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat mendukung upaya peningkatan kesehatan ibu dan janin melalui peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran ibu hamil dalam menerapkan pola konsumsi gizi seimbang.
