Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of integrating Ludo and Wordwall game media in learning the concept of Momentum and Impulse to improve student learning outcomes. The method used is a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of the study were students of grade XI IPA at one of SMA 8 Sijunjung. The experimental group was given learning with the integration of physics-based Ludo games and interactive Wordwall quizzes, while the control group used conventional learning methods. Of the total 15 respondents: 8 students (53%) stated that they really liked and agreed that the Ludo learning media integrated with Wordwall helped them in learning, marked by dominant scores of 4 and 5 in all aspects. 7 students (47%) gave more diverse assessments, with a combination of scores of 3, 4, and 5. The results showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental group compared to the control group. The integration of game media not only improved conceptual understanding, but also increased learning motivation and active participation of students in the learning process. These findings indicate that a game-based learning approach can be an innovative alternative in teaching physics, especially in abstract materials such as momentum and impulse.
