Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of learning media used by educators in the learning process. The main objective of this research is to produce an interactive video-based integrated thematic learning media product in the fourth grade of elementary school. This research is an R&D (Research and Development) research with the Four D model, define, design, develop and dessiminate. In the implementation phase, a trial was conducted on twelve fourth grade elementary school students. The instrument used in this study was a sheet of learning media validation instruments, practicality instruments in the form of a questionnaire for educators and students. The validation instrument was used to determine the validity of the designed video-based integrated thematic learning media. Validation is carried out by design, material and language experts. The results showed that the integrated thematic learning media based on Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) in grade V Elementary School was very valid with a design expert validation score of 3,75 with a very valid category, material expert validation with a score of 3.44 with a very valid category and expert validation. language with a score of 3,28 with a very valid category, and the average value of the overall validation with a score of 3.49 (Very Valid). For the results of the effectiveness of getting an average value of 80 % with very effective criteria. So it can be concluded that the development of integrated thematic learning media based on Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) in grade V Elementary School is very valid, practical, and effective.
